Gordon: But, your families! Michael: They're not going to know, Gord. It's a secret. Deanna: We're still going to have the big gala wedding my mom wants. Gordon: You're gonna tie the knot TWICE? Deanna: Yes... Once for sentiment and once for show.
I did the same thing. My friend and his wife were our witnesses. He was half drunk and the minister mostly bitched at us, as I recall, but married us anyway.
