April: What do you mean I'll be staying with Gord an' Tracey? Elly: Honey, Dad and I will only be gone for a few days!! April: Why can't I stay home Elly: Because you'd be alone all day. April: What about the pets? Elly: Grandpa's taking Dixie, Eddy's going to Connie's house and Butterscotch will be going in her cage with you. April: So, you've worked it all out. Nobody asks me what I want. I just go where I'm told! Elly: April, what would you be doing if we weren't going away? April: I'd probably be over at Gord an' Tracey's house.
You have no right to roll you eyes Elly, she is right. You need to start give her voice too when planning travel! And if she chooses the place you have thought, there is no need to be little bit ass. It’s then one occasion that you agree as she is teen and those immediate agreements will go rare and rarer!
