Candace: I don't understand why Anthony married Therese in the first place. Elizabeth: He was crazy about her! Candace: So... what happened? Elizabeth: I guess "captivated" became "captured"! They met at a dance club in university. They are both wonderful dancers. They even entered a few competitions together. She's elegant and sophisticated. She sings and plays the piano, she's outgoing and fun to be with. She just captivated him! Candace: So... what happened? Elizabeth: I guess "captivated" became "captured"!
Anthony is a needy personality. It doesn’t take much to ‘capture’ him.
