Elizabeth: Anthony?! Hi, it's me. I'm sorry about the confusion on the phone. Warren's gone now. He just dropped in for a minute. He quit his job. He was depressed and needed someone to talk to. I know it's late. That's why I asked him to leave. There's nothing between us anymore... I hope you believe me. Anthony: Of course I believe you! Hey, we're both tired. Why don't I pick you up after work tomorrow and we can talk then, OK? Elizabeth: OK. He doesn't believe me!!
When a man says, I believe you, he means, I believe you. When a woman says I believe you, she means, you are the biggest liar and I can’t believe I ever trusted you.
