The grass is always greener… over the hill?

My kids realize being an adult isn’t easy and often tell me they are glad they are kids :)

The grass is always greener over the septic tank.

Ironically this comes on the day I grounded myself from my normal morning off because I am behind on my work.

The only place my grass is green is over the septic tank,and the only place I have to mow,too.

i’m 28, married for 9 mths and have no children as yet … but i MISS being a child.

Just remember, once you go there, you can never go back!

Being able to run out and get a Slurpee anytime you want makes it all worthwhile.

(I wish I could get in occasionally before the obligatory spam, sigh.)

I would not go back to being a child for ANY price! We can’t just remember the “fun” stuff…

I prefer being an adult as I didn’t really have the happiest of childhoods growing up but I must admit that there are times every now and then when I wish I could go back to being a kid again … back to a simpler time when I didn’t have quite as many heavy-duty responsibilities weighing me down like I do today.

I agree. My childhood sucked. We didn’t have the Internet! :)

The only time I miss being a kid is when I look at my newborn granddaughter sleeping, oblivious to everything, in my arms…
