I was like that, only not quite so often. It was back in the day. You’d bring home different books every day, and teachers didn’t put all the assignments online for parents to see back then. It was the kid’s responsibility. Overall, I think that was a good thing.
Like Michael, I got in all sorts of trouble for a couple years, which made no difference… till I got a teacher I liked, and decided I wanted to do it right, at which time I did. I was also a strong (but absent-) minded child!
