    We spell it “summer”. Only one nation in the world removes letters from words… USofA.Behaviour. Favour. Flavour. Neighbour. Savour. Saviour. Dang American’s ruining the words. :P

    Oooh, that’ll be talked about on the playground for days…-—————————-@Allan: It was a joke, really. And the American spelling of those words is more intuitive and efficient. Besides, I’m sure the Canadian French is not considered to be correct or proper by the European French either, so who cares? :-P

    And school levels take the cardnal, not ordinal – it is “grade 2” not “second grade”. This appears frequently in FBOW.

    Apparently he doesn’t dislike Mrs. Hardacre as much as he thought he did! Either that or he’s feeling “charitable” since he’s moving on to the next grade level and is finally, after such a long and difficult year, leaving her behind him like a bad memory.
