Might just work, but only if Farley’s not still under the influence of eau de girl dog.

Dunno why but I still think Farley tangled with something. Possibly female. Possibly not canine. But in the past, I don’t remember Phil being a part of this.

Okay, good. At least Phil is trying to make himself useful. The more helping, the better. Fortunately I don’t remember how this story line ends, so it’ll be a good surprise (since I at least know that he’s alive).

I hadn’t started reading FBoFW at this point, so this is all new to me… I started reading in 1994.

Awww. Phil’s a good guy to go looking for Farley in the middle of the night. They should get the kids involved too, that way they won’t be sitting around worrying and they’ll feel like they did something. As to the other day: I wouldn’t be making them eat/sleep. They’re worried sick. Let them be worried and comfort them! They’ll eventually eat/sleep all on their own.

If our dog were lost (but still near-by), her favorite squeaky toy or the sound of her treat cup being shaken would definitely bring her running! That’s the best part about having a food-oriented dog. She was very easy to train using dog treats as a reward for all her good efforts. :-)
