Lynne, does that one missed opportunity cancel out all the times you and your Dad hugged, and told each other – face to face, eye to eye – that you love each other?
How sweet of them! Most kids don’t really check the calendar for anything though! Not at Mike’s age. How old is he supposed to be here? He seems to be acting old for his age to me. Sort of being a little man to his sister. Is he taking over where mom’s too busy? She should have shared the craft time with them, making valentines for grandma. And while I am wondering about something that is just a comic (!) why are the craft supplies out of reach? My kids had drawers and shelves full of the stuff and could use it whenever they wanted. Of course, they were home schooled, so we had lots of stuff!

It’s okay. They can send that one to Grandma, and then make another one for you and John. A good lesson in thinking of others.

They have TWO grandmas. Which one is better than the other one?

Gee, after you locked Mike out of the house in the snow and freezing tempetures, I can’t imagine why Mike wouldn’t make you one Ellie!

She is disappointed. But they did a good job on Grandma’s card.
