And the reason that kids are in such a hurry to grow up is that they only see the privileges of adulthood, not the responsibilities. They see adults getting to do whatever they want whenever they want and not having to answer to anyone for it. It just doesn’t occur to them that not only is adulthood not as carefree as they think it is, but it’s also a life sentence!

I always told my son, “You’re never too old to have fun.”

This is a great strip! Deals in real time that we can relate to. Our local newspaper didn’t carry this strip until later, Thanks to Go Comics, can see the beginnings of the strip.Somewhat like the old days when movies ran continually, one would come in at the middle, and later have to piece the two parts together!(Won’t take Liz 60 years to become a teenager)

Yeah she really needed some nylons to splash in that puddle. I think I remember my mother setting an age for such things as nylons and little heels (and it wasn’t 6).
