Elly set the alarm for 2 am, got up, put the money under the pillow, and managed to fall back to sleep. Then her husband wakes her up at 2:15 am and starts making bad jokes. Doesn’t the man have any sense of self-preservation? She’s going to let him have it. I predict we won’t see John in the comic strips for awhile.
