When my son and my daughter were very young (like 2 years old) and didn’t understand the whole concept of gift giving to individual people, there was a brief moment when they assumed anything wrapped was theirs and they would make a run for wrapped gifts under a tree. The kids here remind me a little of that, because they are just shredding everything while the parents look on in astonishment. I guess the adults don’t get presents too?
