I suspect Elly’s look of horror in the final panel is from realizing her 12-year-old daughter has decided that “normal” means “not learning” and “not wanting to try something new.” Kind of explains those bad grades, doesn’t it?
April is what, about 16 months old? Is that a major landmark (what’s the expression) that she can take off her own socks. It looks like Liz never bothered putting April’s socks back on her!
At least St. Michael is reading a book, not rotting his brain watching TV or playing video games… But then again, depends on what he reads too I guess :-/
