Growing up with 4 brothers, we burn each other as often as we can. Like, “Does your face hurt? ‘Cause it’s killing me”…the other day, due to allergies, my face was actually hurting, and I happened to mention this to my niece…she replied, “Stop looking in the mirror”…
one day my daughter came home and told me what the kids were calling her. I laughed. I told her that, yes, it was annoying but at the same time, kind of clever. I think she got it to stop by not letting them know it stung to hear it.
