Jason: Well, you'll be relieved to know I've stopped trying to draw "Family Circus" cartoons. Andy: Hallelujah. Jason: I just had too many good ideas. This Bil Keane guy would have to go on vacation every other week just to make room for me. It's too much to ask. I mean, after all, he did create the thing. Nope, time to move on. I figure I'll go after one of those strips where the original creator died a million years ago. Since they're already being drawn by replacement artists, what's to stop me from replacing them? Andy: Jason, what's wrong with just creating a new comic strip? Jason: I've narrowed the candidates down to 20... Andy: I said, what's wrong with creating a new comic strip?!
