Jason: Dad, come quick! Mom's beating the computer! Roger: At chess? Jason: No, she's just plain beating it. Andy: Stupid compunet! Roger: I thought you liked going online. Andy: I do, but ever since they switched to a flat monthly fee, it takes an eternity to do even the simplest things! If I want to send e-mail, I have to wait forever. If I want to browse the web, I have to wait forever! No matter what time I try, the darn thing's always busy! Roger: Why do you suppose that is? Andy: There's no incentive for people to log off anymore! They can now spend entire days surfing around without worrying about the cost! It's just one big traffic jam! It's getting to the pint where I don't even want to bother. Roger: Sounds like the folds at compunet need to add some new equipment. Andy: You misunderstand - the bottleneck's not so much on that end... Peter: Steve says this game demo is really pretty lame. Jason: Download it amyway. It's only 2.3 gigs.
It still takes my iTunes a couple hours to download 2.3 Gbs.
