My parents tried when I was a teenager, but they couldn’t get me to care about getting a summer job. As a result, I never had one.

I would have gotten a summer job, except for the fact they make you show up and do things to get paid.

it was always my ambition to get a job which paid as much money as possible for as little real labour as possible. i’ve never been able to find the perfect match of money incoming and labour outgoing, but i’ve come close a time or two.
