What country did they get Jason from?!? Most American kids are approaching obesity and those that aren’t often are malnourished. Everyone works long, hard hours to pay for enormous houses - so no one is home to cook meals out of real ingredients. …and we leave the raising of our children up to the State and the agendas of the corrupt politicians running it…
TreB…. I dunno (about your comment about home cooked meals)…. I’m a 20 year old college kid whose been “chief cook and bottle washer” since I was 15 at my house. Why? Because my mom can’t cook–the first 15 years of my life revolved around noodles and ragu except when my dad got home early enough to cook dinner. I had to learn to cook out of necessity. What I wonder is why there are so many of my colleagues here at school who can’t boil water–and whether their stay at home moms who made such balanced dinners actually failed them.
treBsdrawkcaB - that’s a rather broad statement. My kids are neither obese nor malnurished. They are very active, and very healthy. And my Stay at Home Husband makes home cooked meals almost nightly (we eat out, or order in pizza a couple times a month.)
Jason is just a bright, high-metabolism ectomorph - as I was at his age. Peter and Paige are also high-metabolism ectomorphs, just like their mother Andy. It would take a lot to make them obese even in these times, and no matter how well-nourished they were.

If his mother would stop with the veggie stuff she always makes, he would gain some weight.
