No fun camping trip for the Foxx family…

Roger has just found yet another way to not get the message about family camping. Don’t worry, he’ll get another chance next year.

Yeah, the only thing worse than being stuck in a house all day with Roger is being stuck in a tent all day with Roger

Why is everybody so down on Roger? I like the guy. At least he had the gumption to try something new, much to the chagrin of the rest of the family. Life now can go on, thanks, in a large part, to the efforts of Roger(with a little subtle pushing from the Mrs.)

Camping isn’t all that great anyway

Puts me in mind of the old Priscilla’s Pop strip. Each year, without fail, Waldo Nutchell would drag his family out to some lake for a week of fishing.

Too bad the arc’s over. It really was a great piece of character development for Roger.

Camping’s great, in a motorhome.

I dunno which is worse, his camping trips or Mrs Mitchel’s insistence on cooking carrots.

I’m going to take my guitar and camp in front of the TV for a while in this nice cool house while the temperature outside climbs to 102. It’s already 97 with an index of 112.
Edit: According to our backyard thermometer and the index chart, it’s 104 with the index over 120, at 4:50.

Yes, camping is still great for me after all these years, but this has been my “tent” for a while - the ground has unaccountably become much harder than it used to be…

And there was much rejoicing.
