    @Nabuquduriuzhur: blessed you. Been so hot and dry here in the Midwest that we barely have any greenery at all. If this keeps up for a year or two more, we’ll be a desert.

    It’s so dry here in the Ozarks that I heard some trees whistling for dogs… “rim shot”The cows are giving powdered milk!The chickens are laying soft-boiled eggs!

    Some people just go about things the hard way: hike to the mountains to mine the bauxite to smelt the aluminium to build the airplane to fly to Brazil to pick the beans when all you want is a cup of coffee.
