Jason: Genesis... nothing. Exodus... nothing. Leviticus... nothing. Ezekiel... nothing. Daniel.... nothing. Revelation.... nothing. I don't get it- putting 'N sync in the next "Star Wars" has to be a biblical sign of the apocalypse! Marcus: Here. Try a King James version.

Although I use KJV, were the lads first using the NIV? (No offense, NIV users.)

Ah, remember the old days when every little thing about the new “Star Wars” movies had the Internet talking? I miss those—wait, ABC’s talking about a live-action “Star Wars” series! Discuss!

Boy “bands”- don’t you have to be able to play an instrument to be in a band? Call ’em boy vocal groups, boy pop groups, boy dance groups, ok

The real sign of the end times will be when the Indians win the World Series and the Browns win the Super Bowl in the same year.

Maybe they could try the Koran.

Just remember that The Beatles were one of the first boy bands, and I would say they improved music.

I might have been a bigger fan of Star Wars if they’d put *NSYNC in it.

Of course, no boy band music was put into the Star Wars movies at this time, and it was just a rumor to freak out the Star Wars fans.

In 2003, the Cubs and Red Sox were in the play offs. The Cubs blew it, but the Red Sox made it. The apocalypse was averted at that time since one of the lesser know signs was that the Cubs and Red Sox would meet in the World Series after a long drought for both teams. That sign is now nullified, but maybe the next one refers to the Cubs and Indians?

I totally agree. I am thoroughly Christian, but I see the Bible as a guidebook and not a textbook.

New International Version – somewhat controversial because it is copyright Zondervan. It spite of that, it continues to be very popular because it is very readable and tries to follow the original intent of the words while using more modern idiom.

Isn’t there a ‘Hip’ version of the Bible somewhere? Using ‘current’ language? Seems in the 1970’s Paul’s letters were updated. And I still can’t help but laugh when I hear, ‘The Epistle of Paul the Apostle’.

what? N’Synch wasn’t in the Star Wars movie…is this some 10 year old rumor that has long since passed the general sphincter of our collective memory?

maybe they should check in the original language of the bible I’m sure Jason would be able to read it, as the sign of the apocalypse he is looking for was probably lost in translation
