Nothing worse than a block of cheese stuck in your braces

really, I didn’t think kids got braces until Jr Hi??

I got braces in 5th grade. Just depends on how many permanent teeth you have lost and how bad situation is. Mine was pretty bad. Even had a bar on the roof of my mouth to stretch the palate.

Got my braces at age 10.

Interesting that Peter said he MIGHT have to get braces. If he’s going to see an orthodontist, that means he IS getting them. No orthodontist is going to say, “nah, he doesn’t need them”.

Oh, and Jason, your chewing gum days are OVER.

I needed braces and my parents would not pay for them either my sister or me.Company medical or dental insurance then would not cover braces. Now on me when I got a full time job I waited until probation over with then I decided to get orthodontist work done and I paid for it myself in my early 20. Just before I got married I finished treatment and what I owed. My sister never did go.The orthodontic treatment also required the bar to push roof of my mouth very painful and pinched/broke a bloodvessel I bled.

Patient: Doctor, I have yellow teeth, what do I do?Dentist: Wear a brown tie…

orthodontists always try and make your mouth ‘better’…….which i find extremely dumb. my motto is ’don’t fix what ain’t broke’

My parents didn’t take me to the dentist. My father pulled a loose tooth with pliers. I’m not making that up. I’ve been paying for that kind of stuff for the last 40 years. My teeth were a mess.
