I once had a buzz from a Rock Star energy drink about a decade ago. After it wore off and I was getting worn out myself, I vowed to never again take the stuff. Of course, I didn’t take it to help me stay awake for a homework assignment.
I once went to an Italian restaurant with some friends of mine, and one guy tried espresso for the first time in his life. He liked it so much that he had two more cups. He didn’t sleep a wink that night and swore that he would never have espresso again.
Between frequent fatigue (finally got a diagnosis, so that should be getting better) and leftover ADD symptoms, I definitely feel like this is what I need some days!
how many cups do one of those jars of “Folder’s” crystals make? I think the lethal dose of caffeine is in 76 cups of coffee? I’m reminded of a story where a guy killed himself with a super energy drink he made by dissolving caffeine pills, the drink he made was the equivalent of downing like 30 vials of 5 hour energy at once or something.
Peter turns in a book report over 500 pages long. The Teacher takes one look at it and says it’s completely illegible. Peter says “Oh, I invented a new language while I was waiting for the pen to cool down…”

I feel that way when my blood-sugar is too low. Heart rate increases, jittery.

As I recall, Stevenson’s classic is less than 100 pages long.

Don’t let this give you any ideas, folks… this amount of caffeine could land you in the hospital.
