I had 28.8 kbps when I first got on the Internet in 1995. It wasn’t until the next century that I upgraded to 1 Mbps ADSL, and that’s where I am today, even though I’m paying for 12 Mbps. I’m hoping the speed will increase when I upgrade to 50 Mbps optical fiber.

28.8 kbps? Man, 1997 must’ve been a horrible time to be an internet user.

Encouraging words from mom! No wonder Jason Fox grows up to become deranged evil scientist.

Enjoyed this one. Trudeau’s attitude is that if you don’t understand the strip, you’re too unintellectual for his tastes.

LOL!….ok, since I put aside the ethics of attacking other cartoonists, this one is FUNNY!…
there ARE a boatload of characters that are thrown in Doonsebury from time to time and to get what’s
going on you better remember those characters and what they said or did the last time they appeared
in the strip weeks or months back.
and Trudeau DOES inject his characters’ reaction to obscure or forgotten happenings going on in the world,
knowledge of which you need to get the gag

What’s with their expressions? Doonesbury characters usually look sedate if not bored.

I liked how each president was portrayed by a floating object of some kind or another. I wonder what he would have done with Trump?
