I keep occasional track of the weather in Verkhoyansk, Siberia, just to make me feel better… um, lessee, it’s currently -23º and feels like -33º there :) (but no snow)

If I recall, Jason pulled a similar trick on Paige.

Even if it were snowing, that wouldn’t necessarily mean sledding conditions yet. Heck, the snow might melt almost as soon as it hits the ground.
