@Marvee: A good comic illustrator can draw curly or wiry hair just as easly as straight or waved hair. Considering that one of MW creators may be “ethnic” (judging by his surname) I’d like to see more characters in MW who don’t look like WASPS. I’m certainly not anti-WASP – I’m just tired of seeing men and women in MW with the same hairdos.
APT3G: So, Paul’s papa suspected something and did some digging. I wonder what he found? That LuAnn is really his daughter that he put up for adoption many years ago?

These comments were written about 3 hrs. ago, but I had trouble submitting/posting them this morning.APT. 3-G: Write-ups about this strip say that Lu Ann Powers (nee Wright) is an art teacher and the widow of a U.S. Air Force pilot who was killed in Vietnam. Are there any skeletens in her closet (other than the fact she may have neglected to tell Paul that she is a widow)? Or, did Paul’s dad find something in the background check to raise concerns that Lu Ann & Paul were separated at birth?MARK TRAIL: Nice scenery – love the waterfall. I am willing to bet there will be some drama before Kelly’s little escapade is over. MANDRAKE: Are we going to see some Mandrake Magic?
A3G – Many people today do background checks on potential suitors or in-laws. I’m also anxious to hear what Paul’s dad found out. Being a widow may be a deal-breaker if Paul places great value on virginity. But I hope LuAnn is the one to break things off.Rex – Arye is probably right about the text telling him that Kelly is unconscious.JP – Men’s conversations are sooo interesting.Mandrake – I haven’t read this strip long enough to know…does Mandrake have special powers?Phantom – We used to spend winters in Yuma Arizona and their were rock formations like these as you approached on I-10. Lots of border patrol, too.Mark Trail – I hope Kelly really finds something. I’ve been vacillating between theories – gold smuggler vs. sweet li’l ol’ lady who loves animals and wants to preserve their habitat.Funky – Becky could have a band competition. That’s nothing but half-time.
