REX MORGAN: While June is entranced by Foster’s novel, Mabel is about to contest Foster’s will. But Rex said he’s give Mabel an answer after Foster’s funeral. Shouldn’t Mabel wait?
APT.3G: The usual review didn’t quite review all the events of the past week.
PRINCE VALIANT: I recognized the Hebrew letters that “St George” erased. One was a Mem. Now St George remembers his name! Tune in to next week. At least this comic moves.
Mary Worth—Nola isn’t too happy that Mary doesn’t sympathize with her so she dismisses her.Phantom—Nomad is going to come back to haunt him but at least he knows who he is.Rex Morgan—What a greedy and nasty B—-h Mabel is. No wonder why Foster drank.
Flash Gordon – Starting a new story arc.Funky Winkerbean – Nice artwork, again. Judge Parker – As I understand this, that’s Alice in the next to the last panel and Monique in the last panel. Mark Trail – So whales were beaching themselves millions of years ago. It’s not the fault of human industry and pollution.Mary Worth – I think Mary’s getting to her.Prince Valiant – He remembers his name after the Gollum is defeated. Does this mean that his amnesia was associated with the spell that created the Gollum?
Judge Parker – keeping us in suspense. David may be right, but the police officer looks a little suspicious to me.Rex – Mabel said she loved Foster, but she has an abrasive personality.Mary Worth – Why Nola ever said she wanted Mary’s advice is still unclear. I hope she isn’t this rude to clients.
Phantom – I think Florchi’s right, Sahara has hitched a ride. He’s holding his shoulder pointing out his injuries. The vintage Phantom strip today introduced (to me) Broko, the 9 foot tall giant bandit of the Ptjar mountains. I’d like to see Broko in the current strips.PRINCE VALIANT – very observant Arye! I agree, kudos to Prince Valiant for moving things along.
I don’t know when but the Sunday artist has changed again. I looked back over the one month’s archives and it is the same artist. The art work is still excellent, but the previous artist changed panel sizes and created different angles. Does any one know who the new artist is?
