My guess is that baby and mom will be Ok since Scott is professional and knows how to handle things. But what about Tommie’s singing career? Which way does she want to go?

@ Teh: LAST FLAG FLYING (novel) – my reference librarian responded to me that only one library in their ILL system has a copy & then she emailed me yesterday that they haven’t said “NO” yet (as to lending it to us), so that is a good sign. She doesn’t know why there is only one library copy out there – why so few libraries bought the book. I didn’t mention to her that I have run into this sort of thing in the past and it seems that when there is a limiting printing of a book and it’s either unavailable or very expensive, a lot of library copies seem to “go missing” (mysteriously disappear from the shelves). As the daughter of a librarian, I find this appalling – but it does seem to happen to scarce books. @ davidf42: JUDGE PARKER – Do what I did; go to Google.com, type “marijuana” in the search box (without the quotes), and then check Images – instead of the default Web – up near the top left. Then, tell me what you think.
JP I agree that it looks like Avery fell into a patch of marijuana. Since his fall doesn’t seem to be the “conflict” in this story, maybe the “farmers” will. BTW Sunday’s episode of “Longmire” was about mj being grown on national forest land (by a ranger, no less).
A3G – What would Scott’s profession have to do with delivering a baby? It’s hard to help Nina. I hope she was nicer before the pregnancy. Tommy is the one who will handle things because that is her profession. She may be in conflict about her singing career. It seems like she’s more committed to nursing.
