My wife carries a scarf with her at all times – even in the summer. She is a nurse who deals a lot with the refugee population, many of whom are Muslim. She will cover her head when visiting a home or even a hospital room. It’s not a big deal, I’ve donned a yarmulke when we visit our friends at Passover.
