“Let the little children come unto me, and do not hinder them, for it is to just such as these that belongs the kingdom of Heaven”. I guess the monsignor forgot that Biblical passage.
The monsignor has to leave any room with children in it by court order.
There is one nice thing about being a grandfather: you have an excuse to act like a child. I’ve “adopted” a number of grandchildren among my friends.
“It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.”
Luke 17:2 (KJV)
Francis has a very high-placed Exemplar to follow- Mark 10:14-16.
On the other hand, the word “ragamuffin” first appears in English literature (“Piers Plowman”) as the name of a demon.
By the way, I love how colorful the strip has gotten!
