So, I posted a few strips back trolling Frazz as a comic (at least one that’s been compared with C&H)… but one thing Watterson never did was to create such unredeemable characters such as Mrs. Olsen. Wormwood never had her good moments, but intended only as Calvin’s foil. In Frazz, she’s relentlessly ridiculed in a comic that touts tolerance and respect. I guess ethnic food (the tamale arc) is only cool and educational if it’s not Norwegian (lutefisk)… done trolling
