I hate restrictions or discriminations of any kind on decision making. Really, shouldn’t people have a say in the rules and laws that they follow without them being imposed on you?
We elect people we (supposedly) trust to make those decisions. Are you telling me everyone you know is capable of making an informed decision in that regard?
2017: I think the most recent presidential election proves that a significant portion of the electorate vote with their own bigotry and self-interest foremost, and to hell with the good of everyone else.
