I really wish Jef would flesh out some of these other kids and their personalities and their names..Caufield’s cool, but I think I’m burnt out….Hey, Jef! Oh, yeah, come on, you must have a couple of more teachers up your sleeve….

Best thing about being young is that casts and slings and stitches are associated with the word “Adventure.” Worst thing about getting old is that those things tend to become more associated with the word “Procedure” (sigh)…

In the Tour de France many of the hill climb stages are “Col de xxx”, so I figure its meaning is something like hill or mountain.

Dislocated shoulder for me as a kid. I think I was 12 at the time.

Tailbone hurts too….makes it hard to sit. I was pretty bummed about it.

Although needless danger should be avoided, life only escapes the confines of simple “existence” if it is actually lived.Get out people and start living.

Okay, now I’m confused… is he advocating playing video games or is he suggesting it’s better that she got outside? :-s
