Frazz by Jef Mallett for August 17, 2013
Transcript:
Miss Plainwell: How's Mrs. Olsen's mug sale going? Frazz: Total failure. At least as far as her not wanting any recognition for busting herself up saving Gabriela from that distracted driver. Miss Plainwell: Cool. What are people smuggling in and re-buying most? Frazz: "World's greatest teacher" is just ahead of the superman S.

SUEVANV-I have it on good authority that Paper Clips are the ‘Larval’ form of Wire Coat-Hangers. They crawl into the closet, climb up to the rod and metamophize into their ‘Adult’ form. That’s why everyone has a bajillion Wire Hangers but you can NEVER find a Paper Clip when you need one.

The life-cycle of paper clips and clothes hangers is further expanded on in the short story “Or All the Sea with Oysters”, by Avram Davidson, 1958.

Wow. Must use up so much energy to be so hateful all the time. Maybe you could do more outside of the internet so you can contribute more positively to anyone’s life, including your own. Relax, and go enjoy something!

Bigpuma and the others: let it be. This whole discussion goes nowhere, all of you at this point are discussing nonsense and trying to achieve some sense of victory over a moot issue. When the dust settles all of you will be wrong and angry, and none the wiser.Let it rest, sometimes discussions deviate and cannot be make right.
