Caulfield: They ought to start the new year on the first day of spring. That's when everything is fresh and new. Frazz: Everything is blustery and messy and unpredictable. Caulfield: My mom says that's how it was when I was fresh and new.
Today is my birthday, and I totally agree with Caulfield. On the other hand, according to what I often heard, my mother agreed with Caulfield’s mother. :-)
