Frazz by Jef Mallett for August 24, 2014
Transcript:
Caulfield: Elmore Leonard liked to say,"Learn something new every day." But it's summer vacation, so I'm only learning something new every Friday. Frazz: You know what else about Elmore Leonard? Caulfield: What? Frazz: I can't tell you. It's only Monday. Caulfield: Remind me in four days how unsatisfying this turned out to be.

Aahh, tubing down the Au Sable river! Some friends invited us along with a large group of their friends once, what a great day! First time I ever tasted ouzo. One thing I didn’t consider initially – in a group situation like that, it’s preferable to be at the head of the line. What a lovely image!!!

Oh, I learn something new every day, but if it didn’t hurt me, I forget it by the next morning.

I am always ready to learn although I do not always like being taught.

I say the same thing, but reversed: not as a command but a thanks and a blessing: " Every day I learn something new. "
