    I have a cat like Lady Tabitha. Eight pounds of ferocious. She’s helping me type right now. But she can scare things 4 or 5 times her size. She’s definitely in charge here, way superior to our ex-tomcat and a couple of females who are younger and bigger than she is

    Almost all power lines are three phase, using 3 sets of wires ( or 6 or 9 or 12) not 2, usually plus ground or lightning wires at the highest point. . And of course the structure of the towers is not symmetric and triangular enough.

    Just like yesterday… the folks where I work are mostly Hispanic, so they watch a lot of Spanish language TV. Never seen Sabado Gigante, I don’t work Saturdays, But I see a lot of El Gordo y la Flaca, plenty of soccer, and a few telenovelas. They’re about as good, or as bad as American soap operas used to be.

    The majority of the folks where I work are Hispanic, so they watch Spanish TV in the break room. I’ve developed a considerable interest in the scantily clad women aspect of their programming.

    I’ve got a couple of pairs of them. Comfortable, too. Just the right cross between real shoes and flip flops. And I wear socks with mine, because my feet get cold- poor circulation…
