Caulfield: Have you ever...um...hang glided? Hung glid? Hang glider flied? Frazz: And loved it! Caulfield: Why would they make something so memorable so hard to say in the past tense? Frazz: I've also scuba diven!
“Have you ever been hang gliding?”
“…been scuba diving?”
Writing for a character who is supposed to be very smart doesn’t turn out well when the writer isn’t.
