Frazz should wear his wetsuit & stop moaning (unless he got lost again & swam miles). Lake Michigan’s water temperature is circa 65F in October, whereas the Norseman Ironman distance race expects the water temperature to be 57F. Anyway, he’s had almost 6 months to get used to the water temperature, unlike the children.

It’s really not so strange. I remember as a child hearing my mother constantly shushing other adults who were clearly sharing too much adult stuff, “Little pitchers have big ears.” I’ve heard many others use that phrase as well. It’s well known kids are always hearing you and often act on what they hear, often to their detriment.

I agree with you up to a point. Kids have to go to school. If study hall is part of that curriculum, then he has to go to study hall., They can’t leave whenever they want to. There is no law saying Frazz (Jef), has to go for a swim. He can get out whenever he wants to. May be setting a bad example for the kids, but he is free to choose. To swim, or not to swim, that is the question.
