Boy: So, if I were a hawk? Riding thermals? I'd totally love all the memorial-day grilling. Though I'd have to be careful flying over Mr. Archambault's patio pizza oven.
Frazz: Can birds carry supplemental oxygen?
I flew out of cloud layer at 18,000 feet and a Canada Goose went by so close that I saw the pupil of it’s eye. Three feet right and that would have been it for me and my student. That was in the fall near Meridian, MS when the geese were migrating and we were in a T2A on a instrument training flight. I guess the geese were not instrument rated and thus flew above the clouds. ;-)

Was Mr Archambault’s oven the culprit that did Icarus in?

To every child, flying promises freedom – from what to what they are never sure – but the promise is there.

The swallows have arrived. I always admire their ability to fly.

If I were a hawk, I’d been swooping down to get a slice.

That reminds me, I have to clean the grill. Thanks Jef.
