I know some accountants. They are quite variable across almost all the things you can think of: Gender, age, race, body type, even intelligence, though none of the are stupid. And they do enjoy getting exercise in a variety of ways and a variety of how much. What they mostly seem to share is a concern for accuracy.
Most accountants don’t do taxes or only for their own company. They have the time to train. Even those who are deep into doing taxes don’t do them 16 hours a day. They can find time to work out if they want to.

Always be suspicious of an accountant who starts his Bahamas vacation April 16th.

Have no idea who does my taxes, but he/she comes in a box with a disk and instructions and generally gets it right. Can’t ask better.
