@gammaguy Dogs will certainly eat sweet foods — we had one who learned to pick ripe blackberries — but I don’t think they are as motivated by sweets as their owners. The idea that this is like chocolate is meant to attract the owners, who naturally want to share one of their favorite treats with their pets. The dogs, on the other hand, would probably prefer a meatball.
In the US, we now have an ingredient called “chocolity” boldly printed on the package. It may or may not contain chocolate, but even if it does, not a significant amount and I can’t find its effect on dogs – or humans for that matter.

Choc drops is the name of a dog treat on the other side of the pond if I remember correctly so it is alright.
