Waiting for our house to be finished, we rented a duplex with a septic tank. It had recently been cleaned, so there was a mound of bare dirt over it (hardly green at all, Erma). Our dog loved to dig in it – probably to get at the sewage to wallow in. After a few attempts, he would get caught and head directly to the mop sink in the basement for his bath.
