Most dogs’ behavior problems generally start on the other end of the leash…
I will say that Conan, the dog in my avatar, was teacher’s pet in every obedience class we took; he LOVED training and learning new things. Even after we’d taken every class offered at the local Pet Smart, he would try to pull me into the classroom every time we visited.
Reminds me of a saying I saw once, where a mother said “One kid, one brain. Two kids, no brain.” Mr. Dear’s mistake was taking Fred to a class with another doggie friend, Jock! L-D

When it started, it looked like Fred was “going to be teacher’s pet”.
Fred got off to a good start but it soon went downhill fast.

Mrs. Dear’s shock and disappointment in P1 has me wondering what was she up to while they were away. [sound of back door closing]

There’s no such things as a bad doggie, only a bad owner. With apologies from the “Karate Kid.”

Fred don’t worry about it, I occasionally had the same problem in High School.
