Oh, Fred! You meant well. You were only trying to protect everyone. And seriously, if Mrs. Barrington-Smythe valued her fur hat, she should’ve put it some place safe. Even though the Barrington-Smythes are the ones the Dears are always trying to curry favor with, Mrs. D will forgive you once her company leaves.

Whoopsie. Best not to leave things like that within reach of any dog (or cat)!

Some years ago my sister’s wiener dog was barking at a balloon that was in the backyard so I let him out but it still had enough air so it was just out of his reach lol
