You are so right! The hospital didn’t even have the courtesy to call and tell my dad that my moms insurance had run out. They just packed her up in an ambulance and sent her to the county hospital. Not knowing she had been transported, my dad went to visit after work, found an empty room and almost had a heart attack himself, because he thought she had died!
