While filing an online damaged item claim with the USPS I needed to hunt down “proof of value” and before I got it uploaded the claim “timed out” and I had to start over from the beginning. I finally got the form all filled out, hit “send” and the stupid thing sat there for several minutes with that whirly wheel spinning only to say there was a problem and please report this claim number to their 800 phone service. I finally got to the right dep’t on the phone only to have a machine tell me that my hold time would be ONE HOUR, then it said for me to stay on the line after my call to fill out a short survey. I decided to just eat my $25 loss, life’s too short.
