    I hope that if he does get a puppy that it is a “used” dog from a shelter or a private party who can no longer maintain a pet. Great strip for our times!

    Stick to your guns mom. If he gets a dog, you will have to make time for search and rescue missions in his room.

    @Night-Gaunt49 “However if the room isn’t kept clean and or the dog isn’t treated properly then out the dog goes to a shelter.”NO, that is an AWFUL suggestion. A dog is a living being and when one is brought into your home, you are making a lifetime commitment to it. Inanimate things may be used for such “teachable moments”, but not animals.
