    Get a job and hope Nate can get some scholarships to help. Or, send him to trade school. My nephew’s school loans were more than a quarter million. And having graduated a few years ago, he has no job. He plays minor league baseball. Could have done that without spending all that moola.

    We agreed that my wife would quit her job to raise our kids. After they finished school she’d complain about being bored. I suggested a job since our agreement was that she’d go back to work then but she always had reasons to stay unemployed. Now that I’ve retired we find that she didn’t work enough to earn any social security benefits and would have to go back to work for at least 6 years to do so.
