I can’t figure out why Garfield is so quick to go to snow
when he is having a delightful daydream about laying on
a beautiful sunny beach–I wouldn’t give that up for the world.
This one’s cute. The coloring is just a joy to look at. Strange as this sounds, since he just shredded Jon, the beach dream actually reminds me of the nicer side of his character Jim did away with so long ago.
Good question, Susan001. Like Garfield (probably), I dream of cold weather when it’s over-hot and hot weather when it’s over-cold. (Don’t know what that proves, except possibly - along with my dislike of rain - that I’m part cat.)
I have to agree with Garfield- Jon had it coming. The ONLY reason I put up with winter is that the snowfall & rain fill up the lake so I can go boating & fishing when it’s warmer.
@IndyMan, although it could visually be interpreted that way, Jon is not being run over by a stampede to see the snow. He is being punished for bringing an end to the delightful dream.

You know that phrase jon?
‘Let sleeping dogs lie’ ?
Applies to cats too, sorry you had to find out the hard way!

I would like a relaxation like that… just at dusk or something; wouldn’t want a sunburn, you know.

That’s kind of ironic, cause the summer is as hot as the inside of earths core.
